Hello,
Fruit, much fruit bearing as a Christian / disciples of Jesus Christ, is premised on the reality that we abide (stay, rooted, are established, continue, grow and develop) in the true Vine (Jesus the Son of God, himself) without which we can do nothing (of eternal value) - John 15 v 1 – 8.
Our challenge, task and mandate: Fight the good fight of faith. laying hold (active possession) of eternal life whereunto thou art also called... - I Timothy 6 v 12.
Our enemies - Satan and his demons, the world system and our carnal human nature or ‘flesh’. If these are also your enemies, then we are on the same boat and Jesus, (the author and finisher of our Faith - Hebrews 12 v 2) is our captain. That’s why we need His direction, guidance and counsel.
Thank God, for He is the Wonderful Counselor -Isaiah 9 v 6
